IWD 2026 Power of Her

Pacific Women Leading Climate-Ready Communities

· The Olsen Art Series, South Yarra

From PBN’s event listing

A curated International Women’s Day luncheon celebrating Pacific women leading climate-ready communities, aligned with the national IWD theme “Give to Gain”.

Aligned with the national International Women’s Day theme “Give to Gain”, the luncheon reflected the Pacific principle that when women give through leadership, culture and service, communities and future generations gain.

The gathering brought together Pacific women leaders across business and economic empowerment, cultural leadership, community advocacy, politics and systems leadership, alongside an emerging youth voice, for a professionally moderated panel across five leadership pillars and interactive moments for reflection, connection and shared learning.

Held at The Olsen, an Art Series hotel in South Yarra, this was the first PBN International Women’s Day event held on a Saturday, responding to feedback from Pacific women balancing work, business and family. Men attending in support of Pacific women were warmly welcomed.
